Catfish (June-Aug.) off rocky banks. Bream (April- Oct.)

Only 15% of the shoreline is open to development. The remainder is publicly owned or controlled. It gives Cherokee lake a wild and natural feel, making it exceptionally beautiful among the TVA chain of lakes.
